Feeling great! This was a productive week and overall I think this year is off to a great start. This is the second week in a row we’ve made the walk up to Target. I may take a picture as we start our walk next time to give you an idea of just how intense the climb is. Walking “up to Target” sounds pretty easy but it is somewhat grueling. It probably doesn’t help that I don’t warm up before hand. I’m sure some physical trainer out there is having a heart attack to that news.
But I digress! We’ve also gotten me some protein bars and I’m drinking protein mix. The hope here is to get my calorie intake high enough that I might see some muscle mass growth. These items are relatively low in sugar, high in calories, and high in protein. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone but for me it works perfectly. I haven’t put up my progress yet but it is looking like, judging by Liz, we will be making our goals if we keep up with things.
She forgot her pedometer at least once this week which skews the results but that’s just more incentive to try harder!
