How to spice up your Warcraft Shipyard Experience
As it stands the garrison shipyard system is a bit frustrating in the latest wow patch. If you fail on a mission you can lose between one and all of the ships you’ve sent out on the mission.
For a lot of people this can be a game ender. You get attached to your creations and it’s just not fun to see them go. So why not get something out of those failures? The first bit of advice is naming all your ships. You can do this by right clicking on them in the mission window and selecting “Rename”. Pretty simple, I tend to name them after folks I know in order to give them a little extra spice.
So what do you do when you lose your specially named ships? Build a new one! But this isn’t some halfassed carbon copy of the first, oh no, what you do now is slap a numeral on the end! Did you just lose the Ghavacalypse? Build the Ghavacalypse II!
This actually gives me incentive to send out ships on suicide missions. If they succeed I get sweet loot and experience out of it. If they fail I get to continue their legacy with the next ship. It’s a little thing but it goes a long way.
