NaNoWriMo: A Month Long Novel Building Extravaganza
So this month I’ll be writing the second of my Isle of Bellum series. I don’t know if you can call anything I’ve done a series yet, but let’s just fake it together. Each day I’ll likely be writing about my progress as a means to keep myself in check and also to sort of cheer myself along. It’s rough goings in the beginning as I re grease the wheels and try to pick up something that I’ve let get woefully out of shape.
I am thus far ahead of schedule but only just barely. Part of my writing time today was spent with Venus latched onto my arm relaxing. I just don’t have it in me to tell her to leave when she takes up shop on my lap. These cats most certainly rule my life, probably why I’m writing this while standing. Artemis has taken my chair and is snoozing. I don’t mind too much, they help keep me healthy and take the edge off of life.
I am somewhat confident that I’ll finish this in time for the end of the month as is. This will be another one of those “experimental” writing experiences. I’m going to be telling the story somewhat out of order. Alongside the theme of time travel or general spatial irrelevance. Whether or not it turns into a giant muddy mess will remain to be seen. Either way I’ll have fun doing it.
My major goal this week is to get well ahead of schedule so that Fallout 4 and Starcraft II don’t royally screw me.
